Financing
The collection and recycling process of historical waste from electrical appliances (these are products purchased before 13/08/2005) is financed via a visible recycling fee which shall be paid by the final consumer at purchase of a new product and which is going to be shifted to Envidom via a sale chain.
This procedure of financing is in compliance with the applicable legislation .
The use of the visible recycling fee secures that financing is transparent and financial flows are checked. For the consumer it delimitates the value of recycling and it means the guarantee that now as well as in the future it may return unneeded appliance which is going to be recycled in the way protecting the environment free of charge.
Amount of recycling fee depends on:
- the amount of the launched electrical and electronic equipment
- the amount of the collected electrical and electronic equipment for the given period
- the amount of the recycled electrical waste
The amount of the recyclingfee is re-evaluated every year or two according to the amount of the collected electrical waste and costs for its recycling.
Categories of products and recycling fees
Electrical and electronic equipment which is under Waste Act divided into ten categories:
1. Large household appliances
2. Small household appliances
3. Information technologies and telecommunication devices
4. Consumer equipment
5. Lighting equipment
6. Electrical and electronic tools (except for big stationary industrial tools)
7. Toys, leisure and sports equipment
8. Medical devices (except for all implanted and infected products)
9. Monitoring and control instruments
10. Automatic dispensers
